He WAS... and still IS but also IS NOT …. fighting for his life

Imagine you have a healthy child A three-year old boy who likes playing and examining the world, who has cheerful eyes An enthusiastic boy having great zest for life and desire to learn about the world. Running in the garden, splashing about in puddles. A boy as sound as a bell, surely not counting some common children's diseases.

And then you will lose him in one silly instant And to make it even worse: only in part He has remained to be with you – but in fact is not. He lies immobile and nobody knows whether he knows who he is and recognizes its surroundings ....   and fights for his life.

He does not play any more, nor examines the world, his eyes do not glitter. The zest for life has disappeared somewhere, and he cannot learn about the world, even if he wanted to. He may never run after a ball again and smile at his beloved mole.

The worst thing is that it did not have to occur ….
