Till May 1, 2010 - Matěj was an ordinary boy.

He knew how to smile, was curious, was naughty from time to time, but it is quite normal, is not it? Sometimes he "tormented" us a little with a common children's disease... He only had tonsillitis more often than most of his peers.

To spare him (as well us in a way) from the trouble, we agreed to have his tonsils out as doctors recommended to us. He took a surgery on Monday April 26, 2010 and should have been discharged from hospital in a few days. As there were some problems (temperature above normal), he was not discharged from the hospital on Saturday May 1 as planned, but should have stayed another day.

While walking to the Children's Hospital in Brno, we talked with Matěj about the Moon, hand in hand. In our worst dream it would not have occurred to us that it was the last time...
